What to Wear in Nashville 2023

One thing that surprised me during my recent trip to Nashville is how casual the style! (Read the trip recap). Here I was overthinking my outfits when most people on Broadway were wearing shorts or jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers. That being said, I won’t pass out up an excuse to dress up 😉

You can very easily get away with wearing what you already have in your closet. I purchased cowboy boots and belts for the trip from Amazon (which I will also be bringing to Jackson Hole in September), but that was it.

My suggestions would be to bring clothes in neutral colours so that you can mix and match. Here are some outfits that I wore, and some ideas for outfits! You probably already have denim shorts, body suits, and mini dresses, which you can tie into the Western theme with cowgirl accessories. Keep in mind that it gets very hot in the summer and cowgirl boots can get a little sweaty at times.

I bought these 20mm gold hoops from Amazon for the trip because I didn’t want to wear my real gold hoops and I’ve been loving them! They’re excellent quality for the price.
